We are hiring a skilled Reach Truck Operator to join our busy warehouse team in Phoenix, Arizona. In this role, you will be responsible for the safe and efficient operation of reach trucks to move, locate, relocate, stack, and count merchandise. Precision and attention to detail are crucial as you navigate our warehouse aisles, ensuring accurate placement of goods. This position is vital for maintaining the flow of inventory and supporting our overall logistics operations. You will work closely with the receiving and shipping departments to ensure timely and accurate movement of products. Safety is paramount, and adherence to all operational and Safety guidelines, including the correct use of PPE, is mandatory. Responsibilities:
- Operate reach trucks safely and efficiently to transport materials within the warehouse.
- Load and unload products from trailers, racks, and other storage areas.
- Accurately pick and place inventory in designated locations.
- Perform pre-operation checks on reach trucks and report any maintenance issues.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, following all Safety procedures.
- Assist with inventory counts and stock rotation as needed.
- Ensure proper handling of all products to prevent damage.
- Adhere to all company policies and Safety regulations, including the proper use of PPE.
- Follow all logistics procedures for product movement.
Qualifications:
- Valid certification or proven experience operating a reach truck.
- Demonstrated ability to operate warehouse equipment safely and proficiently.
- Previous experience in a warehouse or logistics environment preferred.
- Ability to perform physically demanding tasks, including some Lifting and movement.
- Strong understanding of Safety protocols for warehouse operations.
- Excellent hand-eye coordination and spatial awareness.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Must be able to wear required PPE, including safety shoes and vests.
