Responsibilities:
- Operate forklifts and other powered industrial trucks to transport materials.
- Load and unload goods from trucks and into storage areas.
- Safely stack and stage materials in designated locations.
- Perform routine checks on forklift equipment to ensure operational safety.
- Maintain accurate records of material movement and inventory.
- Adhere to all safety regulations and company policies, including the mandatory use of PPE.
- Assist with general warehouse operations and material handling tasks.
- Collaborate with team members to achieve operational goals.
Qualifications:
- Valid forklift operator certification and proven experience.
- Previous experience in a warehouse or manufacturing environment.
- Ability to perform lifting of up to 50 pounds.
- Strong understanding of warehouse safety procedures and the importance of PPE.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Flexibility to work various shifts as needed.
- Demonstrated commitment to workplace safety.
