We are seeking experienced and certified Forklift Operators for our bustling warehouse facility in Los Angeles, California. As a Forklift Operator, you will be responsible for the safe and efficient movement of materials throughout our distribution center. Your duties will include loading and unloading trucks, transporting goods to and from storage areas, and staging materials for order fulfillment. A current and valid forklift certification is required, along with a proven track record of safe operation. You must be committed to upholding the highest standards of safety, including the use of required PPE and adherence to all operational procedures. This role involves significant physical activity and potentially heavy Lifting, requiring strength and dexterity. You will be a critical component of our logistics operations, ensuring the smooth flow of inventory. Safety is our top priority, and we expect all team members to contribute to a secure work environment. Key responsibilities include:
- Operating forklifts (e.g., sit-down, stand-up, reach truck) to move, stack, and organize inventory.
- Loading and unloading materials from trucks and containers.
- Transporting products to designated staging or storage areas.
- Assisting with inventory counts and stock verification.
- Performing daily inspections of forklift equipment and reporting any issues.
- Maintaining a clean and organized work environment.
- Adhering to all company safety policies and procedures.
- Collaborating with warehouse associates and supervisors to optimize workflow.
