We are looking for a diligent Material Handler to join our bustling warehouse facility in Jacksonville, Florida. This role is integral to our supply chain management, ensuring that materials are moved, sorted, and prepared for distribution efficiently and safely. You will be instrumental in maintaining the flow of goods within the warehouse, supporting various operational processes. Your contributions will directly impact our logistics success. Key responsibilities include:
- Safely operate forklifts and other material handling equipment.
- Load and unload trucks efficiently and accurately.
- Move raw materials and finished goods to designated locations within the warehouse.
- Organize and maintain inventory stock, ensuring proper placement and identification.
- Conduct regular equipment checks and report any maintenance needs.
- Adhere to all warehouse safety procedures and guidelines, including the mandatory use of PPE.
- Perform tasks that involve significant Lifting of materials, potentially up to 50 lbs.
- Assist in maintaining a clean and orderly warehouse, free from hazards.
- Support shipping and receiving departments as needed.
- Participate in inventory management and cycle count activities.
- Contribute to the overall efficiency of our logistics network.
The ideal candidate is reliable, possesses good communication skills, and can work effectively in a physically demanding role. Prior experience in a warehouse or material handling role is preferred.
