We are seeking an energetic and reliable Material Handler to join our warehouse team in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. As a Material Handler, you will be crucial to our daily logistics operations, performing a range of tasks including receiving, storing, picking, packing, and shipping materials. Your efficiency and accuracy directly contribute to customer satisfaction and the smooth flow of goods. This role requires physical dexterity, the ability to perform consistent Lifting, and a strong adherence to Safety protocols. Responsibilities:
- Receive and unload incoming materials and products.
- Verify shipment contents against purchase orders and packing slips.
- Store inventory in designated warehouse locations, ensuring organization.
- Pick and pack customer orders accurately and efficiently.
- Prepare outgoing shipments, including labeling and staging.
- Operate material handling equipment such as pallet jacks.
- Conduct regular inventory checks and report discrepancies.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
- Adhere to all company Safety policies and wear required PPE.
- Assist with other warehouse duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous warehouse or material handling experience is preferred.
- Ability to perform regular Lifting of up to 50 lbs.
- Basic understanding of warehouse operations and inventory management.
- Commitment to workplace Safety and knowledge of safety procedures.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Good communication skills.
- Must be able to stand and walk for extended periods.
- Must wear all required PPE.
- Reliable attendance and work ethic.
