Become a Picker/Packer in our busy Raleigh, North Carolina facility! This role is essential for our logistics operations, ensuring that customer orders are processed accurately and efficiently. You will be tasked with retrieving items from warehouse stock, meticulously packing them for shipment, and preparing them for dispatch. Our commitment to Safety is unwavering; all team members must strictly follow all Safety guidelines and consistently use the Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) provided. This position requires physical stamina and the ability to perform frequent Lifting of items weighing up to 50 lbs. If you are detail-oriented, proactive, and have a strong work ethic, this role is an excellent opportunity. Prior experience in a warehouse, fulfillment, or logistics setting is beneficial. Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick ordered items from designated warehouse locations.
- Verify product details and quantities against order forms.
- Pack items securely using appropriate materials to prevent damage.
- Apply correct shipping labels to packages.
- Stage packed orders for outgoing shipments.
- Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the picking and packing stations.
- Follow all company Safety rules and procedures.
- Wear and properly use all required PPE.
- Assist with inventory checks and put-away processes.
- Achieve daily picking and packing performance goals.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Ability to perform physical tasks including standing for long periods and frequent Lifting.
- Capability to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Strong attention to detail and a focus on accuracy.
- Familiarity with warehouse and logistics operations is a plus.
- Commitment to maintaining a high level of Safety.
- Must use designated PPE as required.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team setting.
- Good time management and organizational skills.
