Embark on a career as a Material Handler in our bustling Orlando, Florida warehouse! This critical role supports our entire logistics chain by managing the flow of goods and materials. You will be responsible for receiving, storing, staging, and moving materials efficiently and safely. This includes operating various types of equipment, such as forklifts and pallet jacks. A strong focus on Safety is mandatory, requiring strict adherence to all guidelines and the consistent use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE). This position involves considerable physical exertion, including regular Lifting of materials up to 50 lbs and occasionally more. We are looking for individuals who are reliable, detail-oriented, and possess excellent communication skills. Experience in a similar role within a logistics or warehouse environment is highly desirable. Responsibilities:
- Receive, identify, and store incoming materials.
- Operate material handling equipment safely and proficiently.
- Load and unload trucks and trailers.
- Stage materials for production or outbound shipment.
- Transport materials throughout the warehouse facility.
- Maintain inventory accuracy and organization.
- Adhere to all company Safety policies and procedures.
- Wear and utilize all required PPE.
- Perform routine checks on equipment and report any issues.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient operations.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience as a Material Handler or in a related logistics role.
- Experience operating forklifts and other warehouse equipment.
- Ability to perform strenuous physical activity, including frequent Lifting.
- Capacity to lift up to 50 lbs, and occasionally more.
- Knowledge of warehouse Safety protocols.
- Must wear and use PPE as required.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Good communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Team-oriented and able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
