We are seeking a detail-oriented Inventory Clerk to join our bustling warehouse operations in New York City, New York. This role is pivotal in maintaining accurate inventory records, conducting cycle counts, and ensuring the availability of products for our logistics network. You will be responsible for tracking inventory movement, reconciling discrepancies, and assisting with stock management. Responsibilities:
- Perform regular cycle counts and physical inventory audits.
- Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies.
- Maintain accurate inventory records in the warehouse management system.
- Assist with receiving and put-away processes as needed.
- Track the movement of goods within the warehouse.
- Generate inventory reports for management.
- Ensure the organization and accessibility of inventory.
- Adhere to all Safety protocols and company policies.
- Wear appropriate PPE during warehouse operations.
- Capability to perform moderate Lifting of inventory items, up to 35 lbs.
- Support the overall efficiency of our logistics operations.
Qualifications:
Previous experience as an Inventory Clerk or in a similar inventory control role is required. Proficiency with inventory management software and Microsoft Excel. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Excellent organizational abilities and attention to detail. Ability to work independently with minimal supervision. Must be comfortable with physical tasks including standing, walking, and occasional Lifting. A strong emphasis on workplace Safety is a must. Understanding of basic warehouse logistics. Must be reliable and possess a strong work ethic.
