Join our bustling logistics facility in San Francisco, California, as a dedicated Picker/Packer. This position is critical for ensuring the accurate and timely processing of customer orders. You will be responsible for meticulously selecting items from our extensive inventory and preparing them for shipment. Exceptional attention to detail, efficiency, and a commitment to Safety are essential. You must consistently wear and utilize the required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE). Key Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick items from shelves and storage locations using order lists or RF scanners.
- Verify the accuracy of picked items against order requirements.
- Inspect products for quality and damage before packing.
- Select appropriate packing materials to ensure the safe transit of goods.
- Pack items efficiently and securely, adhering to company standards.
- Apply shipping labels and prepare orders for dispatch.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
- Adhere to all company Safety policies and procedures.
- Wear and maintain required PPE, including safety shoes and gloves.
- Perform other warehouse tasks as assigned to support the logistics team.
Qualifications:
Previous experience in a Picker/Packer role or warehouse setting is highly valued. Must be capable of performing consistent Lifting of items up to 35 pounds. Excellent organizational skills and a sharp eye for detail are required. Ability to work efficiently and accurately in a dynamic, fast-paced environment. A strong commitment to Safety is a must. Must be at least 18 years old. This role involves standing, walking, and manual dexterity for extended periods. Make a difference in our San Francisco logistics operations!
