Are you an experienced Forklift Operator looking for a challenging opportunity in Kansas City, Missouri? We are searching for skilled individuals to join our warehouse team. Your primary responsibility will be to safely and efficiently operate forklifts to move, load, unload, and stack materials. This role requires a proven track record of safe forklift operation and a deep understanding of warehouse procedures. You will be responsible for inspecting equipment before each use, maintaining a clean work environment, and assisting with inventory management tasks as needed. A strong commitment to Safety is essential, including the correct use of PPE and adherence to all site-specific safety regulations. This position is crucial to our Logistics operations, ensuring the smooth flow of goods throughout the warehouse. The ability to perform Lifting and material handling tasks, even when not operating a forklift, is also expected. Responsibilities:
- Operate forklifts (sit-down, stand-up, reach trucks) safely and efficiently.
- Load and unload materials from trucks and into warehouse storage.
- Move and stack products in designated warehouse locations.
- Perform daily pre-operation inspections of forklift equipment.
- Report any equipment malfunctions or safety concerns immediately.
- Assist with inventory counts and organization.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Strictly adhere to all Safety protocols and warehouse operating procedures.
- Wear all required PPE correctly and consistently.
- Contribute to the seamless operation of our Logistics department.
- Assist with manual Lifting and material handling when necessary.
