Join our team as a Receiving Clerk in vibrant Salt Lake City, Utah! We are looking for a diligent and organized individual to manage the receiving process in our warehouse. This position is vital for ensuring that all incoming goods are accurately accounted for, inspected, and processed efficiently. You will play a key role in maintaining inventory integrity and supporting the smooth flow of our logistics operations. Responsibilities:
- Receive and unload all incoming shipments promptly and accurately.
- Inspect all deliveries for damage, shortages, or overages, comparing them against purchase orders and packing lists.
- Record all received items into the inventory management system.
- Identify and report any discrepancies or damages to the appropriate personnel.
- Tag and label all received inventory for proper storage and tracking.
- Organize and stage incoming goods for efficient put-away.
- Follow all warehouse safety guidelines, including the correct use of PPE.
- Maintain a clean and orderly receiving area.
- Communicate effectively with suppliers and internal departments.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in a warehouse or receiving role is highly desirable.
- Proficiency in basic computer skills and data entry.
- Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
- Good organizational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
Safety is our top priority in all logistics operations. You will receive training on safe lifting practices and be expected to consistently use the required PPE to ensure your safety and the safety of others in the workplace.
