This role involves a variety of tasks essential for efficient inventory management and order fulfillment. You will be instrumental in ensuring that our products are handled with care, stored correctly, and dispatched promptly. The ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team is crucial. Safety is our top priority, and all associates are expected to follow strict safety guidelines, including the proper use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and adherence to safe Lifting practices. Responsibilities:
- Receive, unpack, and inspect incoming inventory.
- Stock shelves and organize products in designated warehouse locations.
- Pick and pack orders accurately and efficiently.
- Prepare shipments for dispatch, ensuring proper labeling and packaging.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
- Operate hand trucks, pallet jacks, and other warehouse equipment.
- Assist with inventory counts and cycle counts.
- Follow all safety procedures and guidelines, including proper Lifting techniques.
- Wear appropriate PPE at all times.
- Contribute to team efforts and communicate effectively with colleagues and supervisors.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED.
- Previous warehouse or retail experience preferred, but not required.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repetitively.
- Basic understanding of inventory management principles.
- Strong work ethic and reliability.
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
- Familiarity with safety protocols within a logistics setting.
- Willingness to learn and adapt to new processes.
- Team player attitude and good communication skills.
- Commitment to maintaining a safe work environment and using PPE.
