We are hiring Order Pickers for our expansive Dallas, Texas warehouse! This role is vital to our supply chain and logistics operations, focusing on the accurate and timely retrieval of products for customer orders. You will be responsible for using advanced scanning technology and pick sheets to locate and gather merchandise. Precision is key to ensure order accuracy and customer satisfaction. Our commitment to safety is unwavering; all associates must strictly follow safety protocols and utilize all required personal protective equipment (PPE). This physically demanding role requires stamina, as you will be on your feet throughout your shift and will be expected to handle frequent lifting of goods.
Responsibilities:
- Accurately retrieve products from designated warehouse locations.
- Verify product information against order details.
- Utilize handheld scanners and other technology for efficient picking.
- Transport picked items to designated staging areas.
- Contribute to maintaining accurate inventory records.
- Follow all company safety policies and procedures.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
- Meet individual and team productivity goals.
- Perform other warehouse duties as directed.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous order picking experience is highly desirable.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Must be able to perform frequent lifting of up to 50 lbs.
- Comfortable standing and walking for the duration of the shift.
- Knowledge of warehouse safety practices and willingness to use PPE.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
- Reliable attendance and punctuality.
- Understanding of basic logistics functions.
