We are looking for enthusiastic and reliable Warehouse Associates to join our busy facility in Kansas City, Missouri. As a Warehouse Associate, you will be involved in various aspects of warehouse operations, including receiving, storing, picking, packing, and shipping of goods. This role is fundamental to our logistics chain, ensuring smooth and efficient operations. If you are a team player with a strong work ethic and a commitment to safety, we want to hear from you.
Responsibilities:
- Receive, unload, and verify incoming shipments.
- Stock and organize inventory in designated areas of the warehouse.
- Pick and pack orders accurately based on order specifications.
- Prepare items for shipment, including labeling and palletizing.
- Operate warehouse equipment such as pallet jacks and hand trucks.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
- Conduct inventory counts as required.
- Follow all company policies and safety procedures, including the use of PPE.
- Assist in loading and unloading trucks.
- Contribute to achieving daily operational goals and team objectives.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous warehouse or general labor experience is a plus, but not required.
- Ability to perform physical tasks, including standing, walking, bending, and lifting up to 50 lbs.
- Good communication skills and ability to follow instructions.
- Reliable attendance and punctuality.
- Team-oriented attitude and willingness to help where needed.
- Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Knowledge of warehouse safety practices.
- Ability to wear required PPE.
