In this crucial role, you will be responsible for the efficient movement, storage, and organization of materials within our warehouse. Your duties will encompass receiving incoming shipments, stocking inventory, fulfilling orders, and preparing goods for outbound logistics. We are committed to maintaining the highest standards of Safety, and all team members are required to follow strict protocols and utilize appropriate PPE. The ideal candidate will be energetic, organized, and capable of performing physically demanding tasks, including regular Lifting of items up to 55 lbs. Prior experience in a warehouse setting is preferred, along with a solid understanding of material handling equipment and procedures. Responsibilities:
- Receive, unload, and inspect incoming materials, verifying quantities against shipping documents.
- Sort and organize received items, placing them in designated warehouse locations using appropriate methods.
- Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment safely and efficiently.
- Pick items from inventory to fulfill orders accurately and prepare them for packing or shipment.
- Pack and stage outgoing orders, ensuring correct labeling and manifest preparation.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment in compliance with all regulations.
- Participate in inventory cycle counts and stocktaking activities as required.
- Adhere to all company Safety policies and procedures, including the mandatory use of PPE.
- Report any hazards, damages, or discrepancies to supervisors immediately.
- Assist with other warehouse duties and logistics support as needed.
- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
- Previous experience as a Material Handler or in a similar warehouse role is a plus.
- Ability to perform physical tasks, including frequent Lifting of up to 55 lbs, standing, and walking for extended periods.
- Familiarity with warehouse Safety standards and best practices.
- Knowledge of basic logistics and inventory management principles.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to operate material handling equipment safely.
- Good communication and teamwork abilities.
