Job Summary:
We have an exciting opportunity for a dedicated Material Handler at our Seattle, Washington facility. This role is essential for the smooth operation of our warehouse, focusing on the efficient movement of materials and products. You will be responsible for a variety of tasks, including loading and unloading shipments, organizing inventory, and operating material handling equipment. A strong commitment to safety, including the correct use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), is paramount. The ideal candidate is physically fit, detail-oriented, and possesses a good understanding of warehouse logistics and procedures. We value reliability and a proactive approach to maintaining a safe and productive workspace.
Responsibilities:
  • Receive, unload, and stage incoming materials and finished goods.
  • Load materials onto trucks for outbound shipment.
  • Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other warehouse equipment safely and efficiently.
  • Transport materials to and from designated storage areas, production lines, or shipping docks.
  • Perform inventory checks and assist with cycle counts.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and hazard-free work environment.
  • Inspect equipment before use and report any malfunctions or safety concerns.
  • Follow all established safety guidelines and utilize appropriate PPE.
  • Assist with order picking and packing as needed.
  • Support the overall logistics operations by ensuring efficient material flow.

Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Previous experience in a material handling or general warehouse role preferred.
  • Ability to perform physically demanding tasks, including frequent Lifting of up to 50 pounds.
  • Experience operating forklifts or other material handling equipment is a plus.
  • Knowledge of warehouse safety standards and the importance of PPE.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
  • Familiarity with basic logistics principles.
