In this role, you will be instrumental in the order fulfillment process, ensuring that products are accurately picked, packed, and prepared for shipment to our valued customers. Your adherence to safety standards, including the correct use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), will be critical. Responsibilities:
- Retrieve ordered items from warehouse shelves using pick lists or scanning technology.
- Verify picked items against order details for accuracy.
- Inspect products for any defects or damage prior to packing.
- Select appropriate packaging materials and securely pack items to prevent damage during transit.
- Apply shipping labels and documentation to packages.
- Stage completed orders for carrier pickup.
- Participate in inventory management activities, including cycle counting.
- Maintain the cleanliness and organization of your work area.
- Follow all safety guidelines, including the mandatory use of PPE.
- Collaborate with team members to achieve daily fulfillment targets and support overall logistics operations.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
- Previous experience in warehousing, order fulfillment, or a related field is advantageous.
- Ability to remain active throughout the shift, including standing, walking, and bending.
- Must be able to handle Lifting of up to 40 pounds.
- Exceptional attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.
- Basic understanding of warehouse management systems or scanning tools.
- Awareness of safety protocols and the importance of wearing appropriate PPE.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Capacity to thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
- A dedication to efficient logistics and continuous improvement.
