We are looking for a detail-oriented Shipping Clerk to join our logistics team in Denver, Colorado. In this role, you will be responsible for coordinating and processing all outbound shipments, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and compliance with shipping regulations. Your duties will include preparing shipping labels, verifying shipping information, coordinating with carriers, and maintaining shipping records. You will play a critical role in ensuring our products reach our customers efficiently and without error. A strong understanding of shipping processes and logistics is key. We maintain a high standard of safety, and all employees must follow safety procedures and use appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE). Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and print shipping labels and documents for all outbound shipments.
- Verify accuracy of shipping information, including addresses and order details.
- Coordinate with various shipping carriers (e.g., FedEx, UPS, LTL) to schedule pickups and track shipments.
- Inspect outgoing packages for proper packaging and labeling.
- Maintain accurate shipping records and logs.
- Communicate with customers and internal departments regarding shipment status.
- Operate shipping software and warehouse management systems.
- Adhere to all safety regulations and company policies, including the mandatory use of PPE.
- Assist with receiving and inventory tasks as needed to support logistics operations.
- Ensure compliance with all domestic and international shipping regulations.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent; some college coursework is a plus.
- Proven experience as a Shipping Clerk or in a similar logistics role.
- Proficiency in shipping software and common carrier platforms.
- Strong understanding of shipping procedures and documentation.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to perform physical tasks, including lifting up to 30 pounds occasionally.
- Commitment to safety and adherence to all PPE requirements.
- Good communication and problem-solving skills.
