This role is central to our operations, ensuring the accurate and efficient flow of goods through our distribution network. You will be involved in various aspects of warehouse operations, including receiving, storing, picking, packing, and shipping products. A strong emphasis is placed on maintaining a safe and organized work environment, adhering strictly to all safety procedures and using required PPE . Your responsibilities will include operating material handling equipment, such as pallet jacks and potentially forklifts, to move inventory efficiently. The ability to perform significant lifting is essential, as you'll handle packages of varying weights regularly. This position plays a key role in our logistics chain, ensuring our customers receive their orders accurately and on time. Responsibilities:
- Receive, inspect, and store incoming inventory.
- Accurately pick orders using RF scanners and other equipment.
- Pack orders securely for shipment.
- Load and unload trucks efficiently and safely.
- Maintain inventory accuracy through diligent counting and record-keeping.
- Operate forklifts and other warehouse machinery (certification may be required).
- Adhere to all safety regulations, including the proper use of PPE .
- Keep the work area clean, organized, and free of hazards.
- Contribute to efficient logistics processes by meeting productivity goals.
- Regularly perform physical tasks including standing, walking, bending, and lifting up to 50 lbs.
Previous experience in a distribution center or warehouse environment is desirable. Must be capable of sustained physical activity, including frequent lifting and prolonged standing. Demonstrated understanding of warehouse safety protocols and willingness to wear required PPE . Good communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team. Familiarity with warehouse management systems and order fulfillment processes. A proactive approach to problem-solving and a commitment to operational excellence within the logistics sector.
