Join our team as a Picker/Packer in Richmond, Virginia, and play a vital role in our supply chain operations. This position is essential for ensuring that our customers receive their orders accurately and in perfect condition. You will be responsible for accurately retrieving items from warehouse shelves and preparing them for shipment. This involves careful handling, quality checks, and precise packaging. Our operations depend on efficient Logistics , and your contribution is key. We prioritize a secure and organized working environment, with comprehensive training on all processes and a strong emphasis on Safety . Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick specified items from warehouse inventory using pick lists or scanners.
- Inspect products for quality and damage before packing.
- Select appropriate packaging materials and containers for shipment.
- Pack items securely to prevent damage during transit.
- Weigh and label packages accurately.
- Operate pallet jacks and other material handling equipment.
- Maintain a clean and orderly packing station and work area.
- Adhere to all company Safety policies and procedures.
- Contribute to team efforts and meet performance targets.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in picking and packing is advantageous.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in order fulfillment.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Capacity for Lifting items up to 40 pounds.
- Understanding of warehouse procedures and basic Logistics .
- Willingness to follow instructions and adhere to all Safety regulations.
- Must wear required PPE , such as safety glasses and gloves.
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
