Join our team as a Warehouse Worker in Des Moines, Iowa! This role is integral to our logistics operations, focusing on the efficient handling and movement of goods within our facility. Your responsibilities will include receiving incoming inventory, stocking shelves, picking items for orders, packing products, and assisting with outbound shipments. We provide thorough training, including the proper use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), to ensure everyone's safety. Responsibilities:
- Unload and receive incoming shipments accurately.
- Organize and place inventory in appropriate storage locations.
- Pick items from inventory based on customer orders.
- Pack products carefully for shipment.
- Assist in loading trucks for outbound deliveries.
- Maintain the cleanliness and tidiness of the warehouse.
- Participate in regular inventory checks.
- Adhere to all company safety guidelines and operational procedures.
- Must wear and properly use all required PPE.
- This role requires regular lifting of items up to 50 lbs.
Ability to follow verbal and written instructions.
Physical capacity to perform warehouse duties, including lifting and standing.
Reliable and punctual attendance.
Ability to work effectively within a team.
High school diploma or GED preferred.
Previous warehouse experience is a plus.
Commitment to workplace safety and the correct use of PPE.
