You will be responsible for operating material handling equipment, loading and unloading trucks, and ensuring materials are staged and stored correctly. - Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment safely and efficiently.
- Load and unload materials from trucks and trailers.
- Move materials to and from storage areas, production areas, or loading docks.
- Verify materials against shipping and receiving documents.
- Inspect equipment for safety and operational issues before use.
- Maintain an organized and clean work environment, including designated storage areas.
- Assist with inventory control and cycle counts as needed.
- Adhere to all company safety policies and procedures, including proper use of PPE.
- This role involves significant lifting and maneuvering of materials up to 60 lbs.
Proven experience as a Material Handler or in a similar warehouse role.
Valid forklift operation certification (or willingness to obtain).
Ability to operate various types of material handling equipment.
Strong understanding of warehouse safety procedures.
Physical ability to perform demanding tasks, including frequent lifting and manual handling.
Good organizational and spatial awareness skills.
High school diploma or equivalent.
Commitment to following safety guidelines and wearing PPE.
