Job Summary:
Join our team in sunny San Diego, California, as a Picker/Packer! We are seeking energetic and reliable individuals to efficiently pick and pack customer orders in our busy distribution center. This role is fundamental to our logistics operations, ensuring that orders are accurately assembled and prepared for shipment. You will work with state-of-the-art technology, including scanners and picking systems, to locate products and ensure order accuracy. A strong work ethic, attention to detail, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment are key. Responsibilities:
  • Accurately pick items from warehouse shelves according to order specifications.
  • Utilize scanning equipment to ensure correct product and quantity identification.
  • Pack orders securely and efficiently, selecting appropriate packaging materials.
  • Verify order accuracy before sealing and preparing for shipment.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
  • Operate pallet jacks and hand trucks as needed to move merchandise.
  • Adhere to all company safety policies and procedures, including proper lifting techniques.
  • Report any inventory discrepancies or damages to supervisors.
  • Assist with other warehouse tasks as assigned.
Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Previous experience in a pick and pack or warehouse environment is beneficial.
  • Ability to read and interpret order forms and product labels.
  • Strong attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.
  • Physical ability to stand, walk, bend, and reach for extended periods.
  • Must be capable of regular lifting of up to 45 lbs.
  • Willingness to wear provided PPE, including safety vests and gloves.
  • Understanding of basic warehouse logistics is a plus.
  • A proactive approach to safety and teamwork.
