We are seeking reliable and detail-oriented individuals to join our Boise, Idaho facility as Picker/Packers. In this essential role, you will be responsible for accurately selecting items for customer orders and preparing them for shipment. You'll be a key part of our logistics operations, contributing to the satisfaction of our customers through efficient and error-free order fulfillment.
Responsibilities:
- Read pick lists or use RF scanners to locate and retrieve specified items from warehouse inventory.
- Verify the accuracy of picked items against order details.
- Inspect products for any defects or damages before packing.
- Select appropriate packaging materials to ensure product safety during transit.
- Pack items securely and efficiently into shipping containers.
- Apply shipping labels and ensure all necessary documentation is attached.
- Maintain a clean and organized workstation and contribute to overall warehouse tidiness.
- Assist with inventory control tasks as needed.
- Follow all company safety guidelines, including the proper use of PPE.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in a warehouse, picking, or packing role is advantageous.
- Ability to read and understand product numbers and order details.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
- Ability to work at a steady pace in a fast-moving environment.
- Must be able to perform frequent lifting of up to 30 lbs.
- Basic knowledge of logistics and warehouse operations is a plus.
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
- Team player with a positive attitude.
- Willingness to adhere to safety procedures and wear all required PPE.
