Responsibilities:
- Operate forklifts to move, sort, load, and unload materials within the warehouse.
- Perform routine checks on forklift equipment to ensure optimal performance and safety.
- Safely stack and organize inventory according to established procedures.
- Assist with receiving and shipping processes, ensuring accuracy of shipments.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to all Safety guidelines.
- Participate in inventory management activities, including cycle counting.
- Wear appropriate PPE as required for all warehouse tasks.
- Comply with all company policies and procedures, especially those related to material handling and Safety.
- Must be able to handle significant Lifting requirements throughout the shift.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience operating a forklift in a warehouse or logistics setting.
- Certification or license to operate a forklift is required.
- Knowledge of warehouse operations and inventory control.
- Commitment to workplace Safety and adherence to PPE protocols.
- Ability to perform strenuous physical activity, including frequent Lifting up to 50 lbs.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- High school diploma or GED preferred.
- Must be reliable and able to work flexible hours if needed.
