Job Summary:
We are looking for a skilled Warehouse Technician to join our advanced logistics facility in Colorado Springs, Colorado. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining the operational integrity of our warehouse equipment and infrastructure, ensuring a safe and efficient working environment. This is a critical position that combines technical expertise with practical warehouse knowledge. You will play a key part in troubleshooting, preventative maintenance, and ensuring all systems are functioning optimally to support our logistics operations. Safety is our utmost priority, and adherence to all guidelines is mandatory. Key responsibilities include:
  • Performing routine maintenance and inspections on warehouse equipment, including forklifts, conveyor systems, and automated machinery.
  • Diagnosing and repairing mechanical and electrical issues with warehouse equipment.
  • Conducting preventative maintenance to minimize downtime and ensure operational efficiency.
  • Ensuring all equipment is compliant with safety regulations and standards.
  • Maintaining accurate records of maintenance and repair activities.
  • Assisting with the installation and setup of new equipment.
  • Responding to and resolving equipment malfunctions in a timely manner.
  • Providing training to warehouse staff on the safe operation of equipment.
  • Ensuring the safe use of tools and adherence to all safety protocols, including proper PPE usage.
  • Supporting overall warehouse operations and contributing to a culture of continuous improvement.
This role requires a strong mechanical aptitude, experience with industrial equipment, and the ability to work independently and as part of a team. While not primarily a lifting role, occasional moderate lifting may be required. Familiarity with logistics and warehouse management systems is a significant advantage.
