Job Summary:
Join our bustling warehouse operations as a Forklift Operator in Austin, Texas! We are looking for experienced individuals to operate forklifts and other machinery to move, locate, relocate, stack, and count merchandise. This crucial role ensures the efficient flow of goods within our facility, supporting our extensive logistics network. You will be responsible for safely handling materials, maintaining an organized workspace, and adhering to all safety regulations. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, safety-conscious, and capable of working effectively in a dynamic warehouse setting.
Responsibilities:
  • Safely operate forklifts (e.g., sit-down, stand-up, reach trucks) to move, load, unload, and stack products.
  • Perform pre-operation inspections of forklifts and report any maintenance issues.
  • Move materials from receiving to storage areas, and from storage to shipping docks.
  • Assist with inventory management, including cycle counting and verifying stock locations.
  • Load and unload trucks efficiently and accurately.
  • Ensure that all materials are handled with care to prevent damage.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work environment, free from hazards.
  • Follow all company Safety guidelines and wear appropriate PPE at all times.
  • Collaborate with team members to achieve daily operational goals.
Qualifications:
  • Proven experience as a Forklift Operator with a valid certification.
  • Proficiency in operating various types of forklifts.
  • Understanding of warehouse operations and Logistics principles.
  • Ability to perform physical tasks, including standing, walking, and Lifting up to 50 pounds.
  • Strong commitment to workplace safety and adherence to safety protocols.
  • Excellent hand-eye coordination and spatial awareness.
  • Good communication and teamwork skills.
  • Must be reliable and able to work flexible hours if needed.
  • High school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
