In this position, you will be responsible for accurately picking items from inventory and carefully packing them for shipment to our customers. You will work closely with other team members to ensure that orders are processed correctly and efficiently, contributing to the overall success of our distribution center. We maintain a strong focus on safety, and adherence to all safety guidelines, including the mandatory use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), is paramount. This role involves significant physical activity, including regular lifting of items up to 40 pounds. Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick products from warehouse shelves based on order lists.
- Inspect picked items for damage or defects.
- Pack items securely into appropriate shipping containers.
- Apply shipping labels and any necessary documentation.
- Operate scanning equipment to track inventory movement.
- Assist with organizing packing stations and warehouse supplies.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
- Collaborate with team members to meet order fulfillment targets.
- Follow all company safety procedures and wear required PPE.
- Report any issues with orders or inventory to a supervisor.
