Medical Solutions Direct Hire is seeking a Ultrasound Technologist for a job in Peoria Heights, Illinois. Ultrasound Technologist ~ Discipline: Allied Health Professional ~ Shift: 12 hours ~ We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Ultrasound Technologist to join our team. In this role, you will perform high-quality diagnostic ultrasound examinations using non-ionizing, high-frequency sound waves to assist in the diagnosis and treatment of disease. You’ll work closely with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate imaging and excellent patient care. Perform diagnostic ultrasound procedures, including abdominal, pelvic, and vascular studies Operate ultrasound and PACS systems; ensure accurate documentation in the electronic medical record (EMR) Prepare exam rooms, equipment, and supplies according to hospital policy Evaluate images for diagnostic quality and notify providers of any abnormalities Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer ( ARDMS ) and Registered Vascular Technologist ( RVT ) Completion of an accredited Radiologic Technology or Sonography program Experience: At least 1 year of ultrasound experience preferred (abdominal, pelvic, and vascular) ARDMS (AB), ARDMS (OB/GYN), ARDMS (B), RT(VS)(ARRT), RT(BS)(ARRT) Regular exposure to biohazards, infectious agents, and ultrasonic equipment You’ll be part of a collaborative imaging team dedicated to providing exceptional diagnostic care and advancing medical excellence.
