Consolidated Networks Corporation (CNC) is hiring a network engineer to work on site at Hanscom AFB in the ITF Lab working alongside the database administrators, system administrators and system engineers to build and test changes on the baseline test network prior to changes being made on the USAF operational network. These changes will be well documented to maintain integrity in the results of each modification made. Upon completion the ITF will be set back to baseline standards. After testing is completed you will work with the Cyber Security and TCTO teams to have all changes routed and documented properly. The ITF Network Engineer is responsible for maintaining the baseline configuration within the ITF and on the DREN networks when changes are made to the baseline for all AF systems.
*Education:*
Bachelor’s degree in related technical discipline, or MIS related field is preferred, _but not mandatory._
*Requirements*:
* U.S. Citizenship and an *Active DOD Secret Security Clearance*
* 5+ years of experience working in an enterprise network engineer role.
* Experience with managing, maintaining, troubleshooting, and installing network devices, switches and routers.
* Experience configuring and managing WAN/MAN/LAN infrastructure.
* In-depth knowledge of and experience with major internet routing protocols.
* Troubleshooting and maintenance of complex networks, including vLANS and network segments (routed pathways)
* Be responsible for daily hands-on operating and maintenance, monitoring, troubleshooting, and restoral and testing of networks.
* Experience with SolarWinds Orion for monitoring and managing devices.
*Required Certifications:*
* CompTIA Security+ or equivalent, _*to start*_
* ITIL Foundation, _*within 60 days after start*_
* CCNA or JNCIA-JUNOS, _*within 6 months after start*_
* CompTIA A+ or CompTIA Network+, _*within 6 months after start*_
*Job Responsibilities*
* ITF Sustainment
* Maintain baseline system image repository
* Maintain a lab security scanning server
* Maintain an ACAS scanning system
* Perform full and incremental backups of all lab infrastructure
* Perform updates and patches IAW change management process
* Perform preventative system maintenance on all lab equipment IAW references
* Review and analyze system logs on all ITF equipment
* Maintain documentation and diagrams of infrastructure
* Ensure systems maintain compliance with STIGs and other security requirements
* Provide user and user rights management
* Work alongside other ITF teams within the (3) ITFs to perform daily tasks associated with testing on the ITF baselined networks.
* Build and maintain network and system environments as required for testing within the (3) ITF locations.
* Maintain documentation of all changes made to the infrastructure and system configurations of the (3) ITF locations to understand the effects of each change for further changes and permanent implementations.
* Return all ITF locations back to their original state upon completion of testing.
* Follow appropriate facility and DOD guidelines for access into ITF locations during and outside of normal business hours.
* Assist customers working within the ITF with all requirements to complete tasks.
* And other duties as assigned.

Pay: $90,000.00 - $95,000.00 per year
