We are seeking a skilled Catering Cook to join our team in the San Francisco Bay Area.
This role involves preparing ingredients according to recipes and event menus, cooking hot and cold dishes for small and large-scale events, ensuring consistent taste, quality and presentation, assisting with menu preparation, batch cooking and special dietary restrictions.
- Food Preparation:
Cook hot and cold dishes for events
Maintain food safety standards (SERV Safe certification is preferred)
- Event Production:
Packaging food for delivery and on-site service
Setup and break down food stations when required
- Kitchen Operations:
Maintain cleanliness of kitchen and workstations
Monitor inventory and report shortages
- Teamwork & Communication:
Work closely with chefs, drivers and servers to coordinate timing
Keep open communication to ensure smooth event execution
- At least 2 years of experience as a line cook, prep cook or catering cook (preferred)
- Strong knife skills and recipe execution
- Able to multitask and work under pressure
- Familiarity with food safety rules and kitchen organization
- Reliable, punctual, detail-oriented, positive attitude and strong work ethic
This position requires an individual who can thrive in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high-quality food production.
