Senior Plant-Based Pastry Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Pastry Professional to join our team at an upscale plant-based restaurant in South Brooklyn.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for assisting with daily tasks, preparing food to exact specifications, and setting up stations for menu items.

• Assist culinary staff with daily operations
• Prepare food according to chef's requirements
• Set up stations for menu preparation

The successful candidate will have proven proficiency in pastry disciplines, excellent understanding of various cooking methods, ingredients, equipment, and procedures. They should also possess accuracy and speed in executing assigned tasks, familiarity with industry best practices, and relevant certifications (Culinary school diploma and Food Safety Certificate).

To succeed in this role, candidates must demonstrate strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
