La Jetée is a lively, all-day Provençal bistro located in the Canopy hotel Harbor Point.
Each day starts with freshly baked croissants and crepes, showcasing the restaurant's commitment to providing an exceptional dining experience.
The event sales manager will play a crucial role in driving revenue growth by selling banquet business across two conference rooms and semi-private dining spaces.
This dynamic individual will be responsible for managing inbound leads and targeted outreach/lead generation, establishing strong relationships with clients, and ensuring seamless execution of events.
Key responsibilities include planning client menus, creating clear and concise BEOs (Banquet Event Orders) for execution teams, and interfacing with Hotel Management to sell F&B offerings to hotel group business guests.
The ideal candidate will possess a passion for food and hospitality, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
In addition to the required qualifications listed below, preference will be given to candidates with experience working with hotels and group business, as well as those familiar with local food sourcing and French cuisine.
Qualifications- Minimum 3 years in banquet sales for independent restaurant groups or hotels
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to stand for 8-10 hour shifts
- Experience with Tripleseat and Google Suite
- Interest in local food sourcing
- Strong food & beverage knowledge
- Experience with French cuisine is a plus
