Bakery Production Specialist

• We are seeking a skilled Bakery Production Team Member to join our team.

This is an excellent opportunity for individuals who enjoy working in a fast-paced environment and are passionate about producing high-quality baked goods. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring that all products meet our high standards of quality and presentation.

The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work well under pressure.

• Producing quality breads and pastries.
• Producing doughs, mixes, cakes, cookies, breakfast pastries, pies, and bars.
• Performing baking, cooling, wrapping, and labeling of products. 
• Stocking dry products.
• Developing new recipes and production techniques to ensure seasonal variance and high productivity.
• Training production personnel to the highest standards in industry.
• Performing production planning and forecasting for special events and holidays.
• Maintaining all production modules in the system.

To be considered for this role, applicants must have:

• A high school diploma or equivalent.
• A minimum of 1 year of experience in a bakery or food manufacturing environment.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Able to lift 50 pounds.
• Able to stand/walk for 6-8 hours in an 8-hour work day.
• Able to perform repetitive motions including bending, twisting, squatting and reaching.
• Exposure to FDA approved cleaning chemicals.
• Exposure to temperatures:90 degrees Fahrenheit.
• Able to work in wet and dry conditions.
• Able to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays as needed.
• Able to use tools and equipment, including knives, box cutters, electric pallet jacks, and other heavy machinery.
• May require use of ladders.
