Retail Operations Manager

We are seeking a seasoned retail leader to join our team as a Produce Associate Team Leader.

In this pivotal position, you will be responsible for assisting the Team Leader in all aspects of daily operations, including profitability, expense control, buying, merchandising, labor, regulatory compliance, and special projects. You will lead and develop team members, ensuring a positive company image by providing courteous, friendly, and efficient service to customers and team members.

• Develops and Maintains Store Layout and Product Merchandising: Create visually appealing store displays that showcase products and drive sales.
• Collaborates with Team Leader to Achieve Sales and Labor Targets: Work closely with the Team Leader to set and meet sales and labor goals.
• Analyzes Sales Reports and Labor Data: Review sales reports and labor data to identify areas for improvement.
• Maintains Advanced Product Knowledge: Stay up-to-date on new products and product trends.
• Fosters Strong Vendor Relationships: Develop and maintain strong relationships with vendors to ensure smooth ordering and delivery processes.
• Serves as Point Person in Absence of Team Leader: Function as the go-to person when the Team Leader is unavailable.
• Cultivates Positive Team Environment: Foster an environment of outstanding teamwork, mutual respect, and exceptional morale.

• 18+ Months Retail Experience and 6+ Months Supervisory Experience: Possess relevant retail experience and supervisory skills.

• Lifting Ability: Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Work Schedule: Ability to work a flexible schedule, including nights, weekends, and holidays as needed.
• Environmental Factors: Exposure to FDA-approved cleaning chemicals, temperatures between 90°F, and ability to work in a wet and cold environment.
