Sushi Specialist

Our team is seeking a skilled Sushi Specialist to join our culinary staff. As a key member of our kitchen team, the successful candidate will be responsible for preparing and presenting high-quality sushi dishes under the direction of our experienced Sushi Chef.

• Preparation, cooking, and presentation of dishes from assigned station with attention to detail and quality control.
• Effective communication with colleagues regarding supplies and inventory management.
• Preparation of a wide range of dishes, including nigiri, sashimi, maki rolls, and specialty rolls, using traditional Japanese techniques and rice cookery.

We are looking for candidates with prior experience in a professional kitchen environment; sushi experience is highly preferred. Applicants should possess culinary training or on-the-job training in Japanese cuisine. Strong communication skills in job-related English are essential, as well as physical stamina to stand for extended periods and perform kitchen duties.

The ideal candidate will have a solid foundation in sushi-making techniques, a passion for Japanese cuisine, and excellent time management skills.
