The main responsibility of the Hotel Operations Supervisor is to oversee daily front-of-house operations, ensuring exceptional guest experiences and efficient service delivery. This role involves managing staff, customer relations, and operational standards.
Lead, train, and supervise Front of House staff (servers, hosts, bartenders, support).
Maintain high levels of guest satisfaction by resolving issues and ensuring service excellence through active listening and prompt responses.
Oversee scheduling, labor planning, and daily staffing needs in order to provide optimal service levels.
Manage opening and closing procedures, cash handling, and financial reporting to maintain transparency and accountability.
Coordinate with the kitchen team to ensure seamless and accurate service delivery.
Monitor inventory levels and oversee ordering of necessary supplies to maintain a well-stocked Front of House area.
Implement and enforce policies, service standards, and health/safety regulations to ensure a safe and healthy work environment.
Analyze sales reports and collaborate with management to achieve financial targets and drive business growth.
Support marketing initiatives, special events, and customer engagement efforts to foster a positive reputation and increase revenue.
Key Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a supervisor or manager in the hospitality industry.
- Excellent leadership and communication skills.
- Able to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively.
- Familiarity with hotel operations and customer service principles.
- Basic math skills and attention to detail for financial reporting.
- Ability to adapt to changing situations and resolve conflicts efficiently.
