Hotel Operations Supervisor Position

The main responsibility of the Hotel Operations Supervisor is to oversee daily front-of-house operations, ensuring exceptional guest experiences and efficient service delivery. This role involves managing staff, customer relations, and operational standards.

  • Lead, train, and supervise Front of House staff (servers, hosts, bartenders, support).

  • Maintain high levels of guest satisfaction by resolving issues and ensuring service excellence through active listening and prompt responses.

  • Oversee scheduling, labor planning, and daily staffing needs in order to provide optimal service levels.

  • Manage opening and closing procedures, cash handling, and financial reporting to maintain transparency and accountability.

  • Coordinate with the kitchen team to ensure seamless and accurate service delivery.

  • Monitor inventory levels and oversee ordering of necessary supplies to maintain a well-stocked Front of House area.

  • Implement and enforce policies, service standards, and health/safety regulations to ensure a safe and healthy work environment.

  • Analyze sales reports and collaborate with management to achieve financial targets and drive business growth.

  • Support marketing initiatives, special events, and customer engagement efforts to foster a positive reputation and increase revenue.


Key Qualifications:
  • Proven experience as a supervisor or manager in the hospitality industry.
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills.
  • Able to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Familiarity with hotel operations and customer service principles.
  • Basic math skills and attention to detail for financial reporting.
  • Ability to adapt to changing situations and resolve conflicts efficiently.
