JT's is seeking a Sous Chef to join our team.

JT's is part of a locally owned restaurant group consisting of four unique and successful concepts, each rooted in quality, hospitality, and a dedication to great food. At JT's, we focus on modern Italian cuisine prepared with classic technique, premium ingredients, and the kind of thoughtful preparation that turns familiar dishes into memorable experiences. Our menu honors Italian tradition while embracing freshness, creativity, and seasonality from house-made pastas to carefully sourced seafood, steaks, and regional favorites.

We are looking for an experienced Sous Chef with a strong work ethic, leadership mindset, and passion for excellence. This individual will play an essential role in upholding culinary standards, leading the kitchen team, and helping deliver the exceptional guest experience JT's is known for.

Responsibilities:

  • Sourcing ordering and receiving the highest quality ingredients
  • Developing, teaching, and maintaining all recipes and techniques
  • Organizing a large team and holding each chef accountable for their responsibilities
  • Overseeing and maintaining a smooth professional service
  • Maintaining high standards of cleanliness and organization
  • Assisting with scheduling and inventory to work within a set budget

Requirements:


  • Minimum experience in a management-level kitchen role


  • 10+ years in a quality-driven, high-volume kitchen


  • Strong communication skills and team-oriented attitude


  • Proficiency in Italian cuisine


  • Butchery skill required

Compensation: Salary ($58,000 - $70,000.00)
