Job Title: Bakery Associate Team Leader


Role Overview

This role is responsible for assisting the Team Leader in all aspects of daily operations. The ideal candidate will have excellent leadership and communication skills, as well as a passion for delivering exceptional customer service.


Key Responsibilities

  • Operations Management: Assists the Team Leader in managing daily store operations, including profitability, expense control, buying, merchandising, labor, regulatory compliance, and special projects as assigned.

  • Team Development: Leads and develops team members to achieve sales, purchasing, and labor targets.

  • Inventory Management: Maintains creative store layout and product merchandising, ensuring that products are visually appealing and easy to find.

  • Customer Service: Ensures that customers receive exceptional service, resolving any issues or concerns in a timely and professional manner.

  • Training and Development: Provides training and development opportunities to team members, ensuring that they have the skills and knowledge needed to succeed in their roles.

  • Reporting and Analysis: Analyzes sales reports and labor data to identify trends and areas for improvement, making recommendations to the Team Leader and other stakeholders.


Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Leadership and Communication: Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire team members.

  • Operational Management: Proven experience in operational management, with a strong understanding of business principles and practices.

  • Team Development: Experience in developing and leading teams, with a strong focus on employee engagement and retention.

  • Inventory Management: Strong understanding of inventory management principles and practices, with the ability to manage stock levels and ensure that products are delivered to customers efficiently.

  • Customer Service: Excellent customer service skills, with the ability to resolve issues and complaints in a timely and professional manner.

  • Training and Development: Experience in training and developing team members, with a strong focus on employee development and growth.

  • Reporting and Analysis: Strong analytical skills, with the ability to interpret sales reports and labor data to inform business decisions.
