Japanese Cuisine Chef Opportunity
This prestigious opportunity is seeking a highly experienced Japanese Cuisine Head Chef to join a private 70m motor yacht on a full-time, rotational basis (8 weeks on / 8 weeks off).
The yacht's itinerary will include Southeast Asia over the holiday season.
We are looking for a chef with extensive training and professional experience in traditional Japanese and sushi cuisine, including mastery of classical techniques, regional styles, and premium ingredient handling.
The successful candidate will be responsible for executing authentic, technique-driven Japanese menus at the highest level.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain exceptional culinary standards, consistent with Michelin or luxury-level restaurants
- Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment, adhering to health and safety regulations
- Execute innovative and creative Japanese menu concepts
Requirements:
- Deep professional expertise in traditional Japanese cuisine and sushi
- Significant hands-on experience in reputable Japanese restaurants (ideally in Japan or internationally recognised establishments)
- A cooking trial will be required for shortlisted candidates
