Food Preparation Specialist

• Cuts, prepares, and serves a variety of hot and cold foods, including meats, cheeses, sandwiches, burritos, wraps, salads, and pizza.
• Offers product samples to customers.
• Stocks prepared foods from kitchen, walk-in preparation, and refrigerators.
• Ensures product freshness and rotates stock when necessary.
• Manages recyclables and maintains a clean working environment.
• Assists team leaders in organizing volume and seasonal items.
• Completes spoilage and sweep worksheets as required.
• Participates in inventory checks and ensures accuracy.
• Arrives on time, appropriately groomed and ready to work; works all scheduled shifts and attends required meetings.
• Provides excellent customer service, addresses customer needs promptly, and models effective communication techniques.
• Maximizes sales through efficient procedures for prepping, storing, rotating, stocking, and merchandising.
• Follows established health and sanitation standards.
• Performs opening, mid, and closing duties as assigned; verifies signs and pricing accuracy.
• Reports safety hazards immediately.
