Travel the US with our award-winning Team Proof of the Pudding is the exclusive food & beverage provider for professional golf tournaments, F1 races, and boat shows that take place from January-October.
We are searching for a Premium Operations Lead to be the right hand to the Premium Hospitality Director. This role will be instrumental in the pre-event set up, event-day operations, and event close out. The ideal candidate can travel for weeks at a time, has experience in large scale food & beverage operations, and is eager to learn and grow within a company.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
PRE-EVENT
- This position will travel to the event location about 1-2 weeks prior to the event start.
- Work with the operations team in the accurate distribution to all prep tent areas, assist in the organization and sorting of prep tent areas
- Ensure table order and linen order is distributed correctly
- Assist the Premium Hospitality Director with additional tasks and duties as assigned
EVENT DAYS
- Assist with communication between the culinary and operations teams regarding food distribution timelines, shortages, and specialty needs.
- During event is a Front of House Supervisor Role, a position/location will be assigned with specific duties.
POST-EVENT
- Oversee equipment clean up – ensure all FOH Managers are informed and confident in the pack up of their area. Provide clear instruction on how to pack equipment and what will be returned and reused for upcoming events.
- Gather all specialty equipment according to how it should be prepared for either pick up or packed onto trucks.
- Assist the operations team in strategically packing the semi-trucks for the next event
- This role will typically stay 3-5 days post event.
Education & Experience:
- Must be able to commit to the full year of scheduled events with the Proof Golf Team without any interference from other work commitments.
- 1+ years of high-volume hospitality and/or Stadium Food & Beverage experience needed
- Experience in special events, traveling concerts, or live events is preferred
- Experience with Microsoft Office
- Knowledge of Catering Operations
- Maintain a valid driver's license is preferred, this position will operate a golf cart often.
- Ability to travel domestically throughout the year
- Typical trips range from 15-21 days at a time

- Ability to perform physical tasks, such as but not limited to, moving, carrying, and lifting equipment throughout the venue, navigating stairs and ramps, and in and out of semi-trucks
- Equipment will range in weight, but can be up to 50lbs
- This is a part-time hourly role at $25-$28/hr. Pay is bi-weekly
- This role has ample opportunity for overtime especially during event days
- This role can be expected to be on the road traveling to events for about 2-3 weeks at a time, additional events may also be added as we continue to grow our portfolio.

Work Environment
This position navigates sports venues, typically golf courses usually via golf cart. Often moving in and out of temporary tent structures, semi-truck trailers, and container offices. There may be stairs, bumps, dips, and snags on the floor or within the structures. This role is client facing and behind the scenes and is often communicating with a variety of people. This role will be standing, walking, performing kitchen duties, and carrying equipment and/or food products often.
