After much anticipation, we opened our doors to the public on October 28th of this year in downtown Menlo Park. Demand has been high, and our expansion into AM services will require another manager join the team.
About the role:
The AGM role will be focused primarily on guest facing service and mentorship of front-of-house staff. Under the direction of the General Manager, you will assist with:
- Staff hiring and training programs
- Guest reservation and private events booking
- Staff scheduling
- Acting as the face of the restaurant to liase between guests and staff
- Day to day operations with a mix of AM and PM shifts.
Cafe Vivant and Somm Cellars are working together to build one of the most exciting collections of benchmark Old World and California wines, specializing in mature vintages. The restaurant's culinary program focuses on heritage poultry, with a wide variety of roasted birds coming from many sources, including our partner farm in Pescadero.
