Sushi Preparation Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Sushi Chef to join our team and take charge of sushi preparation and presentation.

This is a key position in our kitchen, responsible for preparing and presenting high-quality sushi dishes under the direction of our Head Chef. This role requires a solid foundation in sushi-making techniques, attention to detail, and a passion for Japanese cuisine.

• Responsibilities include assisting in the preparation and presentation of nigiri, sashimi, maki rolls, and specialty rolls using traditional Japanese techniques and rice cookery.
• Maintaining a clean and organized workstation throughout the shift is crucial.
• Freshness and quality of ingredients are essential in sushi preparation.

• Rice preparation, fish cutting, and general mise en place for sushi production.
• Ensuring adherence to health, safety, and sanitation guidelines according to local regulations.
• Operate kitchen tools and equipment properly and safely.
• Collaborating with team members to ensure timely service and consistent plate presentation.
