Bakery Team Operations Manager

Key Responsibilities:

• Develops and maintains creative store layouts and product merchandising strategies.
• Works closely with supervisors to achieve sales, purchasing, and labor targets.
• Analyzes sales reports and labor data to inform business decisions.
• Maintains advanced product knowledge and stays up-to-date on new products.
• Builds strong relationships with vendors, ensuring seamless ordering processes and timely paperwork submission.
• Resolves team concerns and issues in collaboration with supervisors.
• Acts as point person and departmental leader in the absence of supervisors.
• Sets high standards for retail execution and fosters a positive team environment.
• Monitors customer flows and needs, directing team members accordingly to provide outstanding service.
• Trains, develops, mentors, motivates, and counsels team members to sustain a high-performance team.
• Provides regular performance evaluations and consistently communicates company vision and goals.

Requirements:

• At least 18 months of retail experience and 6 months of supervisory experience.

Working Conditions:

• Ability to lift 50 pounds.
• Standing/walking for 6-8 hours during an 8-hour workday.
• Hand use: single grasping, fine manipulation, pushing, and pulling.
• Exposure to FDA-approved cleaning chemicals.
• Temperatures: 90°F.
• Ability to work in wet and dry conditions.
• Flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays as needed.
• Use of tools and equipment, including knives, box cutters, electric pallet jacks, and heavy machinery.
