Position Highlights:
- SIGN-ON BONUS: $10,000
- Position: Lead Mammography Technologist
- Location: Arlington Heights, IL
- Full Time - 40 hours/week
- Hours: Monday-Friday, 7:00am - 3:30pm
- Required Travel: Float to Vernon Hills, Gurnee, Northbrook, Buffalo Grove, Kildeer, & Schaumburg
What you will do:
- Team Lead responsibility, oversees a work area or function, without the ability to hire, terminate, promote or evaluate another position.
- Performance of all quality control as specified and performs routine mammographic exams.
- Serves as department contact for various government agencies.
- Implementing all radiologist recommendations.
- Maintenance of records for all mammographers.
- Maintenance of mammographic supplies and equipment.
- Patient scheduling/patient flow.
- Prepare daily work schedule. Performance of evaluations.
- Orientation and training of staff.
- Oversees Women's Health patient flow and addresses patient/staff questions on a daily basis.
- Works to obtain all images for ACR accreditations for Mammography/Stereotactic images.
What you will need:
- Five years experience as a Mammography Technologist, required.
- Graduate of an accredited school in Radiologic Technology required.
- ARRT certification and current ARRT registration required.
- ARRT Mammography certification and current ARRT registration required.
- Current Illinois Emergency Management Agency license required.
- Current CPR (BLS) certification required from the American Heart Association.
- Knowledge of and/or experience in the correct use of body mechanics.
