Position Summary

The Dental Administrator plays a key role in ensuring the smooth and efficient running of the front desk and overall patient experience. The ideal candidate is organized, reliable, self-motivated, and thrives in a fast-paced dental environment. A strong work ethic, excellent communication skills, and professionalism are essential for this role.

Key Responsibilities

  • Welcome and check in patients with professionalism and warmth
  • Manage daily schedule flow, confirmations, recalls, and appointment optimization.
  • Oversee hygiene coordination, ensuring efficient scheduling and patient follow-through
  • Handle treatment coordination, including presenting treatment plans clearly and confidently
  • Manage accounts receivables (AR), including billing, payment collection, claim follow-ups, and addressing outstanding balances
  • Process insurance claims, pre-determinations, and benefit breakdowns accurately.
  • Uphold confidentiality, strong work ethics, and a positive, professional office culture

Qualifications

  • Minimum 3 years of experience in dental administration (required)
  • Experience with Dentrix software is preferred
  • Strong understanding of dental procedures and insurance
  • Strong organizational & customer skills and ability to multitask
  • High level of professionalism, reliability and integrity

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $33.19-$38.31 per hour

Expected hours: No more than 40 per week
