Early Childhood ECE Teacher

Job Summary
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Early Childhood Teacher to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating a nurturing and stimulating environment for young children, fostering their social, emotional, and cognitive development. This role requires a strong commitment to early childhood education and the ability to engage with children in a meaningful way. This position is from January January 2027.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement age-appropriate lesson plans that promote learning through play and exploration.
• Create a safe, welcoming, and inclusive classroom environment that encourages curiosity and creativity.
• Observe and assess children's progress, providing feedback to parents and guardians on their development.
• Foster positive relationships with children, families, and colleagues to support a collaborative learning community.
• Maintain classroom organization and cleanliness, ensuring all materials are safe and accessible for children.
• Collaborate with other educators to enhance the educational experience and share best practices.
• Participate in ongoing professional development opportunities to stay current with early childhood education trends.

Requirements

• Certified BC ECE
• Previous experience working with young children in an educational setting
• Strong understanding of child development principles and age-appropriate teaching methods.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to engage effectively with children and families.
• Patience, creativity, and enthusiasm for teaching young learners.
• Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team while also being self-motivated.
• Certification in CPR and First Aid is mandatory at the time of hiring.
• Able to lift up to 30lbs

Pay: $24.00-$32.00 per hour
