Cabinet Maker

Overview
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Cabinet Maker to join our woodworking and cabinetry team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in carpentry, woodworking, and construction, with the ability to interpret blueprints and schematics accurately. This role offers an opportunity to work on custom cabinetry projects, restoration jobs, and installation tasks across residential and commercial settings. Candidates should be committed to quality craftsmanship and safety standards, with experience using various hand tools and power tools.

Duties

• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and construction drawings to ensure precise cabinet design and assembly
• Cut, shape, and assemble wood components using hand tools, power tools, CNC machines, and other equipment
• Install cabinets accurately in various environments, ensuring proper fit and finish
• Perform restoration work on existing cabinetry or woodwork as needed
• Measure spaces for custom cabinetry installation, ensuring adherence to project specifications
• Assist with related tasks such as flooring installation, tile laying, or masonry when required
• Maintain a clean and organized workspace to promote safety and efficiency
• Collaborate with project managers, contractors, and clients to meet project deadlines and quality standards

Experience

• Proven experience in cabinetry making, woodworking, or carpentry is essential
• Familiarity with blueprint reading, schematics, and construction estimating is preferred
• Hands-on experience with hand tools, power tools, CNC machinery, and woodworking equipment
• Knowledge of construction painting, flooring installation, tile laying, masonry, roofing, siding, rebar installation, plumbing, electrical work, or maintenance person experience is a plus
• Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and work on multiple projects simultaneously
• Strong understanding of safety protocols in a construction or manufacturing environment
• Prior experience in restoration projects or working with concrete forming is advantageous

Pay: $18.00-$25.00 per hour
