If so, this role is for you. We’re looking for a UX Designer to help champion user centred design thinking across RICS and elevate the digital experiences we provide to our global membership.
Role Purpose and Key Responsibilities What will the role involve?
As a key figure in the User Experience department, you will work across the organisation to identify opportunities to better serve our members through digital channels. Your responsibilities will include:
• Leading the end-to-end design process, from user research to final implementation
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, present design concepts to stakeholders, and contribute to the evolution of design systems and component libraries.
• Driving and executing UX and UI design across various digital touchpoints
• Employing service design principles across omni-channel experiences
• Facilitating workshops with diverse business stakeholders
• Organising and conducting qualitative and quantitative research techniques
• Working with analytics, optimisation, and research to discover new opportunities
• Collaborating with cross-functional teams including product managers, developers, and researchers
• Creating wireframes, prototypes, and detailed design specifications using industry tools
• Being a voice for UX in the delivery of the UX team's objectives
About You Who are we looking for?
• UX Design: Create user flows, wireframes, and interactive prototypes based on user need
• UI Design: Design intuitive, visually consistent interfaces across platforms
• Prototyping: Build prototypes and conduct usability testing
• User Research: Apply research methods to analyse user behaviour and inform design
• Design Systems: Develop and maintain component libraries
• Accessibility: Implement responsive design and WCAG standards
• Technical Knowledge: Understand HTML, CSS, and JavaScript fundamentals
• Communication: Present ideas and collaborate with cross-functional teams
• Problem-Solving: Address complex design challenges analytically
• Design Tools: Proficient in Figma, Miro, Hotjar, Clarity, Adobe Creative Suite
